Who we are

Mediakit.ly is operated by Mediakitly, 3 rue Alaric II, 31000 Toulouse, France. We are the controller of the personal data described here. Questions: contact@lypning.com.

What we collect

• Account: your email address, name and password. Passwords are stored only as a salted hash by our authentication provider; we never see them.
• Your media kits: the text, images, links, colors and statistics you add, drafts and published versions.
• Connected platforms (only if you connect them): for Twitch, your channel name, display name, profile picture, follower and subscriber counts, plus public stream statistics from TwitchTracker; for TikTok, your username, display name, profile picture and follower, following, like and video counts; for YouTube, the public numbers of the channel you name (subscribers, views, videos and its latest videos' views, likes and comments); for Instagram, your username, name, profile picture, follower and post counts and your latest posts' like and comment counts. Access tokens are stored encrypted and can be revoked by disconnecting.
• Visits to public media kits: the kit viewed, the time, the referring website, the campaign tag in the link if any, the device type and the country derived from the IP address. To count unique visitors we keep a one-way hash of the IP address and browser signature combined with a random value that is deleted after two days, so visits cannot be linked across days or traced back to anyone. We do not store IP addresses and set no cookies for visitors.
• Requests sent to creators (when a creator turns on the inquiry form): the name, email, company, budget, dates, deliverables and message a visitor types, kept for that creator only, with a one-way hash of the sender’s connection used to limit repeated sends. The creator receives it by email.
• Billing: Polar processes payments as merchant of record. We receive your subscription status and dates, never your card details.

Why we use it

• To provide the service you signed up for: hosting and displaying your media kit, syncing statistics, analytics (contract).
• To keep the service secure and prevent abuse (legitimate interest).
• To show creators aggregated statistics about visits to their media kit (legitimate interest).
• To connect your Twitch, TikTok, YouTube or Instagram account, which you can undo at any time (consent).
• To email you about your account, such as confirmations and password resets (contract).

We do not sell personal data and do not use it for advertising.

Service providers

• Supabase: database, authentication and file storage, hosted in the European Union (Paris).
• Vercel: hosting and content delivery.
• Polar: payments and invoicing.
• Resend: sends the emails creators receive when a brand writes to them.
• Twitch, TikTok, Google (YouTube) and Meta (Instagram): only when you connect an account, to read the statistics listed above.
• Vercel AI Gateway, with OpenAI or Google models: only when you ask for your bio to be drafted or polished, the text you wrote and the profile details you entered are sent to generate a suggestion.

Where providers process data outside the EU, transfers rely on the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.

Cookies

Signed-in users receive strictly necessary cookies that keep them logged in. Public media kits set no cookies, so visitors are not asked for consent on our behalf.

How long we keep it

Account data and media kits are kept until you delete them. Deleting your account erases your kits, statistics, images and connected accounts immediately; backups are overwritten within 30 days. Billing records are kept as long as accounting law requires.

Your rights

You can access, correct, export or delete your data, object to processing and withdraw consent. Most of this is available in your settings; for anything else write to contact@lypning.com. You can also complain to the CNIL (cnil.fr).

Children

Mediakit.ly is not intended for anyone under 13.

Changes

We will update this page when our practices change and email you about significant changes.
