The template

Copy the template below and replace everything in brackets. Delete any line that does not apply to you rather than leaving it empty: a short, complete kit reads better than a long one with gaps.

How to fill it in

About

Two sentences, under 50 words. Name the niche precisely: “cozy farming games” rather than “gaming”, “seasonal low-waste recipes” rather than “food”. Precision is what lets a brand picture their product in your content.

Key numbers

Lead with the number you are paid on: average viewers for streams, average views for short video. Each line names its platform. Not sure which to use? What to put in a media kit covers it, and the engagement rate calculator gives you that line.

Audience

Round to whole percentages and keep to three or four bands. Add one line on anything analytics does not show.

Worked with

Brand, deliverable, result. If you have not worked with brands yet, delete this block and lean on highlights. Never list a brand you have not worked with.

Packages

Starting prices, three at most. Use the sponsorship pricing guide to set them.

Turning it into something brands want to open

A plain text kit works in an email, but most brands expect something designed. You have two routes:

  • A designed PDF. Paste the text into a design tool, add your photo and colors, export a PDF. It looks good on day one and is out of date by the end of the month.
  • A live page. The same sections as a web page on your own link, with numbers pulled from your accounts so they never go stale. That is what Mediakit.ly builds: every section in this template exists there, Twitch and TikTok numbers can sync on their own, and the free plan covers a complete kit.

Questions

Is this media kit template free?

Yes. Copy it, change it and use it however you like. No sign-up is needed.

Can I use this template for Twitch, TikTok, YouTube and Instagram?

Yes. Each line in the numbers section names its platform, so list whichever platforms you are on, leading with the one brands will pay for.

What format should a media kit be in?

A link or a one-to-three page PDF. A link can stay current and show you how often it is opened. Some brands still ask for a PDF, which you can save from the page.

Your link is waiting.
